The uproar of the COVID-19 pandemic has allowed us to become aware of how easily we fall into a state of panic and anxiety where clarity and reassurance act as a second priority. Experiences of grief and loss may seem overwhelming. We’ve heard the expression “it’s not so much what happens to us but how we respond to it.” Becoming lost in reaction perpetuates the cycle of chaos. Mindfulness practices teach us to respond to any situation with tranquility and transparency, guiding us toward the path of our individual truth. Let’s unite and find the tools and practices of gaining self-empowerment and control during an unpredictable time. This group will encourage you to examine the power of your mind and your breath. You can act as your own ray of light within the darkness.
