Mindfulness is a way of life. It can be practiced anywhere, anytime and in any place. Mindfulness can be defined as present moment experience without judgment.
Through mindfulness practices, we accept and meet ourselves where we are right now. The goal is not to change someone but to help them find their true nature and live in alignment with their values. This increases overall well-being and reduces anxiety.
Mindfulness practice allows us to slow down and make more conscious choices. In this way we change destructive patterns of living on auto-pilot and create new habits of being aligned with our values, decreasing our anxiety and feelings of unease. Healing does not need to be a complicated long process. We can heal in each moment.
